After trying the Krispy Kreme X Dr Pepper KickOff Collection of doughnuts, I wanted to take things a step further and incorporate the other successful Dr Pepper collaboration from this summer. I’m referring, of course, to the Dr Pepper with Pickles phenomenon.
The recipe here is simple. Take the Krispy Kreme Dr Pepper doughnut (with Dr Pepper flavored frosting), and add a few high quality dill pickle sandwich slices. That’s it! This was a flavor explosion, and I recorded a video of the process for your enjoyment:
